How I feel about my argument

Today my class and I did an argument, each of us had an
topic and we had to explain that topic in front of our class.
When it was my turn I felt so nervous because I had to say
what ever I wrote, my topic was about Kids should do chores,
I was so scared to talk in front of my whole class. When I was
talking to my class I was trying to not talk that fast but I felt so
good after I have said my argument and I will try my best next
time to speak slow.

Pretend speech for the Chief - Title - Sons of Ma'afu - Reading

Dear Villagers

This is your chief, I am writing this letter to tell you guys

how I feel about my sons going away and about their behavior.

I feel like my sons are being missed by me, but I feel proud of them

because even though they were making trouble around the village.

They fought 2 most dangerous animals in this village, and now

They live up the sky, next to the milky way, and now they are

Called Coal Sack and Southern Cross but together they are

called Magellanic Clouds. As I am your chief, I’m sorry about

My sons behavior, I know they have been making a lot of

Trouble, but please forgive them.

Famous Maori Role Model - Stan Walker

Narrative - Topic - Help, I am stuck in

There was a kid named John, he was a student at Glenbrae School, he took his chromebook home, to do his homework, BUT!!. ONE DAY, he was watching Youtube on his chromebook, then this ad came up, and there was a man that said ‘’ if you press this button right next to me, there will be a big surprise’’, so John thought if he should press it. After he pressed the button she got shrinked into his chromebook, he didn’t know what to do.

When he got inside of his chromebook, there was a man, he said to John, ‘’ Hello there Gentleman, I know you have been shrunk into your chromebook, if you want to get out of here you will have to do a challenge/ Parkour, you have 3 chances, if you don’t complete this parkour challenge, you will be stuck in here forever, so GOOD LUCK’’. John replied ‘’ OK thanks’’, John saw there were 4 levels to complete, he was scared to do it but he had no choice.

The first level was, The floor is lava, he had to jump and stand on objects but try not to miss the object, if he will miss it he will lose a life and he has 5 seconds to jump off that object before it disappears.

So John jumped on Chair, a Bed, a TV stand, a Table and then a Toilet, after he jumped on those objects he completed and finished level 1.

The second level was, The floor is lava again but, he had 3 seconds to jump on and off an object. When he was on level 2, he saw there were different things to jump on, he first jumped on a Ps4, then a Xbox, then a Knife, and then he jumped on a TV but it was so far. He thinked if he should jump it in case he would fall, so he jumped very high and landed on the TV, and completed level 2.

The third level was different, he had to do rock climbing. What was different about that was he had no line to hold him in case he falls, so John looked up and was thinking how am I gonna get up there, if John has to climb up there and press the button to complete level 3. He started climbing, climbing climbing all the way to the top to press the button. When he was almost there, he felt tired and wanted to fall down but said to himself ‘’Don’t give up John’’, so he kept on climbing. When he got to the top he pressed the button and he completed level 3, he was so happy and tried at the same time.

THEN IT WAS LEVEL 4, John had to do parkour on house’s, he had to jump to house’s and try not to fall down. He started jumping and jumping on house’s BUT THEN, when he was jumping on the next house he tripped and almost fell down but he held on for his life, he lifted up himself with all his strength and was able to get back on the house, and start again. When he got up he saw he had to jump 4 for house but he was so tired, he told himself ‘’Never give up’’ so he kept on jumping, when he jumped on his last house he was every, every happy because he made it and completed level 4.

When he was finished with all the levels, the man from before he said ‘’You did it, you made all 4 levels, now you are free to go back home’’,

John replied ‘’Thank you very much’’ so join jumped back out of his chromebook and was back at home safely and happy, so John wrote about his adventure and lived happily ever after.

What I learn about in Kiwican

What I learn in Kiwican was Accountability, that was our topic for this week, Accountability is about when you make a mistake, you have to be honest and own up, for example, if you started a conversation but the teacher said to don't talk, in the first place but then your teacher see your friend talking to you then your friend has to sit in class but you were the one that was talking to your friend first, so you have to be honest and tell your teacher that it was you, so that you have to stay in class. If you be honest and do the right thing, your friends will always be there to play with you and will want to be your friend but if you don't be honest an own up, your friends will won't trust you, will never play with you and will never be  your friend, but that is what I learned about in Kiwican.
