Kiwican

Today we went to Kiwican. We learnt  about resilience and emotions.

You should control yourself when you are sad so you don’t get in a fight or get in trouble.

I’m so tired when i do a test and lots of work

    

Stone Soup

W.A.L.T. retell a story and list information from the text.

Once upon a  time they were 3 soldiers who had no food for two days. They saw a town but all the people hid their food. The soldiers were hungry so they made Stone Soup. It needed lot of water. They asked for cabbages, salt and pepper,carrot, beef, potatoes,barley and a cup of milk. They gave them a place and they slept there there for one day.

Insulation

Room 9  learnt about insulation in room 7. Insulation is about how to  keep your house warm and If you don’t  put insulation in your house it will be so cold  and you will be so sick just like   baby Ioane we saw in the video.

Baby Ioane was so sick that  he went to the hospital 7 times. He had two  sisters and  he got stick  because there wasn't  enough insulation and in the house, there was only  one heater  in the Living room but the bedroom is very cold.

You can use pink batts and mammoth to insulate your house.
